Cameroon Opposition Leader Confronts Legal Proceedings Regarding Election Unrest, Authorities Says
The nation's Interior Minister the interior minister has announced that political opponent Tchiroma Bakary will be prosecuted over accusations that he incited "aggressive post-election demonstrations".
No fewer than four protesters have been lost their lives during clashes between police and military and opposition supporters since the electoral process on 12 October, with the 92-year-old head of state obtaining an eighth presidential mandate.
