• New Vocation Mechanics: A brand new job class has been added for this reimagining. Furthermore, party members now have the capacity to master a secondary job, greatly enhancing customization possibilities.

These changes are designed to mitigate one of the original title's most noted criticisms: its considerable playtime. That original adventure was known to take over 100 hours to finish. This new edition was expressly designed to refine progression and cut down on any filler.
